GYS TBP100 BATTERY TESTER Features *6-12V, 3 functions - *Starter Capacity - *Voltmeter DC ( 0 to 16V ) *Charging System ( Alternator )
The TBP 100 is designed to test the capacity ( but not its state of load ) of a battery ( 6V or 12V ) to provide sufficient current to start a car as well as the load circuit ( alternator ) of the vehicle on which the battery is assembled. Before use of this product, read attentively this notice.
Precautions of safety: Avoid sparking near a battery in load because it can cause a fire even an explosion. In the same way, when the battery installed in a vehicle is in rest, the sparks can cause serious damage with the electronic system of the vehicle. Ensure that the red grip doen not touch by other part of the vehicle. Do not pose the tester on the vehicle, his cap being out of metal, this one can cause a short circuit. Pay attention to clean the grips of the tester well after use.
Initialization: Before any measurement, check that the needle is to zero. If no, please regulate the apparatus with a screwdriver.
Installation of the tester: Connect the red grip to the positive terminal and the black grip with the negative terminal. Ensure that the contacts are firm and that the grips cannot be touched enters.
Test of the alternator / the load circuit of the vehicle : Connect the tester to the battery installed in the vehicle ( cf installation of the tester ) and make turn the engine of the vehicle to high mode. Read the indication provided by the tester without touching with switch ON/OFF. If the load circuit of the vehicle functions correctly, the needle should be on “OK” Please read the instruction manual for further details.
