NOVA 180 Submersible pumps have been designed for private use around your house and garden. NOVA 180SS Pump body, impeller, cap and suction grid in technopolymer.Motor, rotor shaft and screws in stainless steel. Triple O-ring seal interposed with an oil precombustion chamber. Continuous duty submersible asynchronous motor. Stator fitted in an airtight stainless steel casing. Rotor mounted on overdimensioned, greased-for-life ball bearings. Built-in thermal and current overload protection and a capacitor permanently on in the single-phase version. For the protection of the three-phase motor it is advisable to use a suitable overload protection complying with the regulations in force. Application Range and Liquids to be pumped Submersible pumps have been designed for private use around your house and garden. Submersible pumps are predominantly used for drainage after flooding, transfer of liquids, draining containers, taking water from wells and shafts, draining boats and yachts as well as for water aeration and circulation for limited period of time. The pumps are fully submersible (waterproof sealed) and can be submerged down to a depth of 5m, 7m or 8m into the liquid. Liquids which can be handled by the Submersible Pump are the following clean or slightly contaminated water (maximum partical size 5mm), swimming pool water (prerequisite is the recommended dosage of additives) and soapy water. Corrisive, easily combustile or explosive substance (eg. gasoline, petroleum, nitro thinner), fats, oils, salt and waste water of toliets and urinals must not be pumped.
